About Eurojackpot

Eurojackpot is an international number-based lottery that brings together participants from various European countries. The game operates under a unified set of rules and features a transparent system for draws and prize distribution.

  • History and Mission of the Lottery

Eurojackpot was launched in 2012 as a pan-European project bringing together players from different countries. Its main goal is to offer participants the chance to win substantial prizes under unified and transparent rules. The mission of Eurojackpot is to ensure fair play, provide entertainment, and promote a responsible approach to lottery participation.

  • Licenses and Legal Information

Eurojackpot operates in full compliance with European Union legislation and the national regulations of each participating country. All draws are conducted under the supervision of government authorities, and the lottery's operations are licensed by official regulators, ensuring legality and reliability.

  • Organisers and Participating Countries

Eurojackpot is organised by national lottery operators working in partnership across more than 15 European countries, including Germany, Finland, Italy, Spain, and others. All partners operate under a shared framework and adhere to common rules, enabling a unified gaming experience and centralised draws.

  • Game Format

    Players select:

    • 5 main numbers from a range of 1 to 50
    • 2 additional Euro numbers from a range of 1 to 12

Draws are held twice a week — on Tuesdays and Fridays. Results are officially published shortly after the draw takes place.

  • Jackpot and Prize Categories

The prize pool is formed from a portion of the ticket sales. If the jackpot is not won, the amount rolls over to the next draw. There are 12 prize tiers, and winnings are possible even with partial matches.
